About Me
I am Daniel Ball, and I currently live in Wichita Falls, TX. I am slowly working my way to a Computer Science degree at West Texas A and M University, however, I need to change to a more local university.
I have been building my own computers since 1999, and have been tinkering with old electronics that didn't work properly to see how they work. I have a preference for AMD based computers, mostly because you get more bang for the buck, but also because Intel tries to act as a monopoly in my opinion. However, I have recently decided to start using Intel chips because AMD really isn't competitive at this time.
I currently work with the City of Wichita Falls in the street department with the position of general maintenance, and have been working there since Sept 2005. Before that I was in the Air Force, from Jan 2002 to July 2005, stationed at Barksdale AFB, working on the B-52H aircraft working mostly on the radar system and some of the radios. My tech school learning included Electronic Principles while still at Lackland AFB. My first job was working at Albertsons as a courtesy clerk from Sept 1995 to Jan 2002.
